E-Muscle Cars is proud to offer fully re-built Tesla drive units featuring brand new upgraded ceramic bearings, new seals, and most importantly a coolant by-pass kit which prevents the common rotor seal failure which results in a flooded drive unit, and potentially catastrophic inverter failure.  If this happens, your entire motor and inverter can be destroyed.
 
The "Race spec" Sport/Performance Tesla Large Drive unit begins as our 600 hp rebuilt large drive unit upgraded with premium ceramic bearings, seals, and a coolant bypass kit.  We then install a Quaife Limited Slip Differential so all of that instant EV torque can be transferred to the road or track!  The Tesla sport LDU can put out nearly 4000 ft. lbs of torque at the rear tires.  Many EV conversions are much lighter weight than a Model S sedan, so adding a limited slip differential is critical for maintaining proper traction during performance driving, autocross, and drag racing.  This upgrade is highly recommended!
